MANILA, Philippines — After a hardcourt swing, Alex Eala turns her focus to the clay season, starting with the Linz Open from April 6 to 12 in Austria.

Eala is taking a short break after her round-of-16 exit in the Miami Open on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old Filipino tennis star fell to No. 14 Karolína Muchova of Czechia, 0-6, 2-6, unable to replicate her dream Miami Open run last year.
